Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) Awarded a Patent for \”ConceptWorks"
Detroit Engineered Products (DEP), creators from the MeshWorks, an integrated CAE platform has been awarded a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its revolutionary automated modelling tool ConceptWorks, the latest addition to their CAE legacy. With reference to ConceptWorks, its unique capability was acknowledged. With this solution, engineers can certainly bridge the gap between modelling design and analysis, which will help in optimizing the model at reduced some time and with less effort.
ConceptWorks helps users to redefine the conceptual modelling phase by permitting CAE engineers to efficiently produce concept members for design and optimization studies. With ConceptWorks, drastic design transformations are made immediately at the CAE level. Like a CAE tool for structural engineers, ConceptWorks enables the creation of structural members and joints without using CAD software, allowing engineers to focus on their core competencies.
“We are pleased that the US Patent Office has all over again recognized the uniqueness in our automated modelling tool concept works,” said Radha Krishnan, Founder & President, Detroit Engineered Products (DEP), on receiving the patent. \”MeshWorks differentiation from its competitors is bolstered by the patent, which provides the organization a long-term competitive advantage within the CAE market. We're very pleased using the positive response for ConceptWorks in the market, hence motivates us to create even more innovative solutions.\”
DEP’s goal of transforming the product development process and delivering real-world solutions is aided by these new tools that are added to MeshWorks. With one of these advancements, DEP aims to embrace market trends and raise industry standards.
