DoorBird integrates with myGEKKO International Security Journal

DoorBird IP video door intercoms can now be integrated into the myGEKKO home automation system. Various devices could be connected to each other through the myGEKKO interface. The brand new integration enables a truly connected smart home.

The myGEKKO automation system regulates, optimises and controls all aspects of the intelligent home environment. Produced by Ekon, the myGEKKO system uses an intuitive graphical user interface that may be flexibly adapted towards the needs of homeowners and tenants. Integrators can easily implement rules and controls without complicated programming.

Thanks towards the new interface solution, the IP intercom's functions could be configured and operated through the building automation system. When a visitor rings the DoorBird intercom, residents can easily see, consult with the visitor and grant access via the myGEKKO Slide indoor station. The door or garage door can also be opened comfortably by touch. All of these features remain available, remotely, with the DoorBird App using a smartphone, tablet or the IP indoor station from the manufacturer, Bird Home Automation.

Residents can connect the smart door station, for example, using the security alarm, lighting and heating directly within the automation system. The DoorBird intercom camera and motion detector also end up part of the myGEKKO unified intelligent home environment making the residence even more comfortable and secure.
